Good morning everyone!
We haven’t met for a while, and it’s time to wrap up our push to have Sullivan County endorse a resolution to amend the U.S.constitution to reverse the effects of the Citizens United Supreme Court decision. (Remember those petitions we collected in January?) This is currently happening nationwide, as MoveOn and many other organizations are coordinating for this to happen in June. We hope you will be able to come.
We also need to discuss the possibility of Sullivan County enacting a ban on fracking,and begin to plan for that.
Bob, Chet and Marshall have met to develop the media committee, and they will report to us.
The meeting will be Wed. evening, June 6, at 6:00, at my house (37 Delaware Ave, Liberty). Please let me know if you plan to come.
