Questions about the Apollo Deal

Questions about the Apollo Deal.

Progress on the redevelopment of the Apollo Plaza and surrounding properties has been halted as newly-elected officials seek answers to various questions.

Questions about the Apollo deal

I thought it useful to post this link that Cora Edwards sent to our email list, since there have been questions about this since Cora mentioned it as the showing of ‘Inside Job’ in Livingston Manor.

Supreme Court May Reconsider “Citizens United”

by Eric Byler

Could it be that the Montana Supreme Court has given the United States Supreme Court the opportunity to reconsider the “Citizens United” decision? The Montana ruling on Dec. 30, 2011 defied the highest court in the land by upholding Montana’s ban on corporate spending in state elections, prompting a very interesting response from Washington DC.

MoveOn Sullivan, in a small presence, rallied outside Peck’s Market in Jeffersonville Today, Sunday, Feb 19…. an inpromptu meeting was held at Samba Cafe after….The Decision to rally outside Liberty, at the Shop Rite Plaza.  More to come from Kathie soon.

New ‘Global Square’ social platform forming in March

New ‘Global Square’ wikileaks based social platform.

The Global Square, an online global collaboration platform for activists backed by WikiLeaks among others, plans to have a functional prototype by March, its sponsors said.

Styled on social networks like Facebook and Twitter, The Global Square, targeted at activists and the global community, will be developed around Tribler peer-to-peer technology.

I just thought this might be something worth looking into when it starts.

Supreme court asked to double down on ‘Citizens United’

Supreme Court Asked To Double Down On Citizens United

Keith Olbermann had this to say.

If they didn’t get a conscience when they selected a president….why would they over Citizen’s United? That was their whole intent to purchase America. They knew damn well democrats would be at a disadvantage and republicans would be at an advantage…..it’s up to us to ignore the money and pay attention to the candidates and their records. We can beat money, if we don’t let money beat us!!! Supreme Court Asked To Double Down On Citizens United……   Might this be somewhat a reaction to all the Pressure groups like MoveOn and others have been placing on the Supremes?
